WEEK #10 SAMPLE SECTION

Peter returned to the world of his 1993 novel The Innkeeper's Song a few years after it was published, when he wrote a story called "The Last Song of Sirit Byar." In that tale Peter made reference, in one way or another, to 19 different songs written or performed by his bardic title character...but he never shared anything more than titles, or descriptions, or a few incomplete fragments: nothing complete. Until now.

Below is the beginning of the piece. The complete version is quite beautiful.

And yes, there will be more Sirit Byar songs in this series.
