WEEK #29 SAMPLE SECTION

This is the beginning of what Peter wrote for the 29th week of the 52/50 Project. To get the rest of this piece (and all the other releases in this 52-part series) click here.

For his fifth subscriber-suggested creation, Peter took on a challenge from Carlen Lavigne: "My friend Gwen Larouche is also on the 52/50 list; she is such a heartfelt fan of Peter's that I think she owns six different copies of The Last Unicorn. On January 2, 2010, she will be marrying Matthew Milks. I know she would be absolutely thrilled to see her wedding inspire a poem or song in the 52/50 project. So my question is, what would Peter say to two friendly young strangers who just told him they plan to spend the rest of their lives together?

For the record: according to Carlen, when Gwen saw what Peter wrote, she "made a sound I suspect only dolphins can fully appreciate."
