These products are finished but not yet manufactured. They were delayed for a final time in March/April 2007, when private funds — not customer order money! — that had been set aside to cover the gap between sales income and actual manufacturing costs had to be used to help Peter S. Beagle deal with a family financial crisis. As soon as these necessary funds are replaced (through sales income, loan payback, or both) manufacturing will begin immediately. Actual delivery should take place about two months later.

It's a simple equation: the more stuff we sell, the faster we'll fill in the gap that helping Peter created, and the sooner the CD audiobook edition and Two Hearts will be out the door. We expect this is to happen within 2010. When an exact date is known, it will be posted here.

WRITING SAREK — Hardcover Edition

Completion of this book was regrettably delayed by the same Beagle family issues mentioned above. On the plus side, the delay allowed us to find more internal Star Trek: The Next Generation production memos related to the "Sarek" episode, several variant drafts of the original script, and a set of unused story pitches that Peter had completely forgotten he had made to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. All of these discoveries will be included now, and we couldn't be happier about that.

Writing Sarek will be wrapped and sent to the printers shortly after manufacturing begins on The Last Unicorn CD audiobook and Two Hearts.
