But we are investigating several possible options...and it costs money to pay a good attorney to (a) analyze the flaws in the Saul Zaentz Company's position and (b) write unignorable letters in response. Money in the support fund helps cover these expenses.
2. WRITE LETTERS AND EMAILS TO SAUL ZAENTZ COMPANY'S EXECUTIVES
If you don't like the position that the Saul Zaentz Company has taken regarding Peter, then send your complaints directly to the people there who are responsible.
Please do not use any obscenities or threaten any boycotts, however. Just say what you feel, and why, and what you think they should do.

SAUL ZAENTZ
— Saul is the boss. He is 84 years old and a brilliant businessman,
no question about that, with amazing achievements on his resume
as the head of a record label, as a movie producer, and as a mover
and shaker in charitable circles. But he also set this situation
up 28 years ago by not treating Peter fairly, and he's never done
anything to correct that. That said, it is quite possible that he's
never been told of our attempts to get his company to do the right
thing by Peter S. Beagle. (Indeed, it is hard to imagine the current
Saul Zaentz not wanting to do something about this, given the other
causes he publicly supports.)

PAUL ZAENTZ — Paul is Saul's nephew, and has been co-producer
of many of his uncle's films. He is the guy who fibbed outrageously and
dismissed any obligation to help Peter by claiming that The Saul Zaentz Company
has never made a profit on its Tolkien rights when in fact they have earned hundreds
of millions. (Uh-huh. And would you like salt on that bridge I'm selling you?)

ALBERT M. BENDICH — VP and General Counsel for The Saul Zaentz Company. Mr. Bendich is the man who signed the one-page 1977 deal memo for The Saul Zaentz Company. He's also the man who turned Peter down flat 28 years later, when Peter came looking for a little flexibility and help for his mother.

FREDERICA DROTOS — Ms. Drotos has been the principal voice over the phone and author of most of the correspondence rejecting any notion of responsibility for doing better by Peter.
